Nutrition on a Budget: Advice from an RD

I’ve been in pursuit of new “Nutrition on a Budget” ideas and recipes, because the holidays have definitely come and gone, and the economy is on my mind–like everyone else. But if you listen to Julie Upton, RD, there’s actually a silver lining to the recession.  She contends that the most most economical foods are actually the healthiest…including the $0.25 potato!

She gave advice to television and radio audiences across the country about how to get a big nutrition bang out of their buck.  Despite the poinsettias in the background, Upton certainly gives us information we can use all year long.  Click on the image and enjoy the short video!
