Potato Party, anyone? In an article in the New York Times titled, “We’re Going to Party Like its 1929” writer Alex Williams teamed up with famed event planner, David Monn, to design a holiday dinner party for eight at his West Village apartment on a recessionary budget — say, $30 a head for food, décor, everything.
