Switch it up and top your baked potato with smoked Texas brisket for a flavorful and filling meal!

Ingredients

  • 1 russet potato
  • 4 oz. brisket (prepared)
  • 1 tbsp BBQ sauce (prepared)
  • ⅛ cup sliced jalapeños
  • ⅛ cup pickled onion (prepared)
  • 1 tsp Sea Salt
  • 1 tsp olive oil

Preparation
Prep Time: 10min | Cook Time: 60min

  1. Heat oven to 450 °F.
  2. Spray or rub your potatoes in olive oil
  3. Poke potatoes with a fork all over to help with equal cooking
  4. Bake the potatoes for 60 minutes
  5. After 60 minutes pull the potatoes from the oven and let them cool for 5 minutes
  6. After cooling the potatoes cut them open lengthwise and top with brisket, BBQ sauce, jalapeños, and pickled onions.

Notes 

  • This BBQ baked potato can be topped with any of your favorite BBQ meats from brisket, to pulled pork, to sausage.
