Potato Recipe: The students of Elk Grove USD love potatoes in all forms, baked, mashed, fried – you name it! However, their favorite potato side dish happens to be the tried-and-true baked potato, with some high schools in the district going through 5 cases of potatoes a day!

“We love making baked potatoes because they’re easy to make and they’re popular. Plus, you can do a lot with them! Classic butter and sour cream are popular toppings, but students love ranch too! If we had a longer lunch period, we’d love to do a baked potato bar!”
