Description

This quick and easy breakfast sausage and hash brown quiche with green onion and gruyere cheese has all the fixings of a delicious breakfast! Great for a weekend brunch and can be made in advance and reheated at a low temperature.

Ingredients

  • 1⁄2 lb. cooked breakfast sausage
  • 4 eggs
  • ½ cup, 1 bunch green onion finely chopped
  • 2 Tablespoon heavy cream
  • 2 hash browns
  • 3 oz gruyere cheese grated
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Whip the eggs and heavy cream together till frothy
  2. Fold in the chopped breakfast sausage, green onion, gruyere cheese, and hand-torn hash browns
  3. Add one teaspoon of oil to a skillet or small Staub and add quiche mixture.
  4. Bake at 350 °F for 18 minutes.
  5. Allow to cook then remove from container and cut to desired consistency.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions

Notes
