This quick and easy breakfast sausage and hash brown quiche with green onion and gruyere cheese has all the fixings of a delicious breakfast! Great for a weekend brunch and can be made in advance and reheated at a low temperature.
1⁄2 lb. cooked breakfast sausage
½ cup, 1 bunch green onion finely chopped
2 Tablespoon heavy cream
2 hash browns
3 oz gruyere cheese grated
Salt and black pepper to taste
Prep Time: 15min | Cook Time: 25min
Whip the eggs and heavy cream together till frothy
Fold in the chopped breakfast sausage, green onion, gruyere cheese, and hand-torn hash browns
Add one teaspoon of oil to a skillet or small Staub and add quiche mixture.
Bake at 350 °F for 18 minutes.
Allow to cook then remove from container and cut to desired consistency.
Garnish with chopped green onions
Depending on oven strength, timing may differ. Cook until you can put a knife in the middle and no runny eggs stick to the knife.
Remove from Skillet while still warm or it will potentially stick.
